The Story Behind MY LIFE STORY
My marvelous Aunt Ellen was one of the early pioneers in the computer industry. She often joked that they didn't even have a name for their department at first, but she transferred over to the new electronic venture because they told her it might be big some day. Mostly, it got her out of the General Electric secretarial pool - which was really all their offer required!

Quite a few years later, Ellen made a small fortune investing in a start-up software firm and always laughingly described her good luck as "ironic." When she retired not too long after that, she strangely - but very adamantly - refused to even own a computer! (I will always have to wonder what she knew that the rest of us have yet to learn!) She was certainly a funny and remarkable woman and the whole family adored her.

Of course, I shall definitely remember Ellen for a thousand wonderful reasons, but I also know it may well stop there and that my kids and grandkids won't carry on a connection to her in any way. That part feels like a personal family tragedy for me.

Such a needlessly lost connection motivated me to create My Life Story: As Lived and Written by YOU!

Sure, most of the people we love and care about won't ever write a full-blown autobiography, but I'll always believe that most could enjoy taking the time to answer some fun fill-in-the-blanks questions about their life and that when done, a worthwhile legacy for the rest of us can be established for years to come.

So my request is for you to please consider giving a My Life Story book to all of the especially meaningful folks in your life. If it captures their memories & personality in a tangible way, then I know from my own personal experiences that you will have accomplished something quite wonderful.

Thanks for your time today!
Cordially,
